Her face is burned into my memory, just looking at the camera, unaware of what lies ahead for her. That five monsters could shoot bb's at a pregnant woman, scald her, not feed her or feed her baby. That not one of them had a thought to slip away and tell a neighbor or call the police or let someone know that there was a retarded woman and a baby being starved and/or tortured in their home. It will never leave me. Yes, they are heinous, they are evil, they are beasts. They can rot in jail, and I hope they do. But that lady died in pain and humiliated. There is a baby without a mother. It stayed warm the entire day. The day before it was 58 degrees and on February 29 it was a semi-nice 52 degrees. Then after it hit 74, it started slowly cooling down and at midnight it was about 60 degrees. On March 3, it was below 40 degrees! Our high was at midnight!
